We have performed a strict management system for production, quality, and delivery in order to ensure that customers are not affected by this incident. Also, we do our best to protect the health and safety of our employees through continuous monitoring so that we provide them with a safe and sound working environment.
Our crisis management system toward current COVID-19 situation is as below :
1. Stable Manufacturing Process and Delivery
 ㅇ Manufacturing facilities in China, which were put on temporary halt due to local government policy, have resumed its operation and are functioning normally since March 15th. Although logistics conditions within China remains unstable to a certain extent, we will thoroughly manage our product quality and delivery to circumvent any possible difficulties.
 ㅇ Although operation of our factories in India is put on temporary hold due to India’s current nationwide lockdown, we are making every effort to respond to and abide by our clients’ requests such as delivery.
 ㅇ In addition, we make every effort to overcome this situation by applying our crisis management system to all of our global facilities.
 ㅇ As a result, we have not received a single client complaint regarding the quality and delivery of our products, and we will continue to put our clients’ interests a top priority.
2. Enforcement of Safety Measures for Manufacturing Site and Personnels
 ㅇ As a global leading company, LS Cable & System Ltd. strictly complies with global standard for health, safety and environment.
  - We possess HSE certificates such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  - We prepare for and update Crisis Response Manual regularly and share it with our global facilities.
 ㅇ Most of all, we put utmost value on our people. As per current situation, we try our best to secure the safety of our employees and the local community by implementing below measures to our global manufacturing facilities.
  - Education of Safety Manual and HSE guidelines regarding COVID-19
  - Health check when entering factory and office, Strengthen sanitation and disinfection in facilities
 ㅇ We are protecting our employees from infection by only allowing COVID-19-free employees to are working space, and also letting our employees returning from overseas travel to receive proper procedures such as self-isolation.
 ㅇ We are assessing the situation daily, remaining vigilant, and operating our regional business flexibly following the recommendations of the local authorities for our facilities.
  - Joint response with public sectors, partners and subsidiaries by sharing information and actively cooperating
  - Flexible operation of business such as working from home, flexible working hours and online business activities
3. Our Plans
 ㅇ We will continue to follow and update our scenario-specific contingency plans and enhance the HSE countermeasures in preparation for the prolongation of this crisis.
 ㅇ The safety of our employees and providing uninterrupted service to our clients are our primary considerations in preparing all of our countermeasures. In order to dispel clients’ concerns, we will proceed with our measures and schedule transparently, and share it with our clients.
